Disabled Access
There is access through the main door. We have a wheelchair available for use in surgery.

Hearing Difficulties
If you are experiencing hearing difficulties when being called in to see the doctor or nurse, please do let us know in order for us to set up an alert on your medical records and personally collect you from the waiting room. Alternatively, we do have the facility of a portable induction loop. If you would like to use this, please ask at reception for assistance.

Emergencies have priority at all times. You can call 0121 411 0344 any time 24 hours a day. Please listen to the full message on the answering machine. Please remember that the out of hours service is for genuine medical emergencies only. This means that the problem cannot wait until the next available appointment at Church Road Surgery.

The Practice is a member of i3 Ladywood Primary Care Network (PCN), which covers a population of around 73,000 patients and 9 GP Practices. Being part of the PCN means that the following services are provided, outside of our normal hours. 

Monday to Friday – 6.30pm to 8.00pm – One of the PCN’s Hubs operates from Newtown Medical Centre for the benefit of all patients in the PCN. 

Saturdays – 9.00am – 5.00pm – An Extended Access Service is provided from the Church Road Surgery, 28 Church Road, Aston, Birmingham B6 5UP. On these days telephone calls will be directed to Church Road Surgery between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm. 

When the Practice and the Enhanced Access Service is closed, all calls to the Practice are diverted to Badger, who are our ‘out of hours’ service provider.
